Welcome to MplsKirtan

Thank you for visiting mplskirtan.com. Please feel free to browse through all the sections of this website. The  upcoming events section (on the top of this page) lists all of our upcoming events and gatherings. Most of these events are hosted free to serve everyone by sharing the central and universal principle of congregational kirtan / chanting. We welcome and do appreciate your involvment in service, working together, donations or whatever way you choose to get involved. Please do not forget to subscribe to our mailing list to receive event reminders and newsletters.

Please visit our audio kirtans section, videos at the bottom of this page, articles, spiritual questions & answers and links to other wonderful resources and websites. You can also listen to all the 18 chapters of Bhagavad-Gita, "The Great Mystery of Mankind " on the top section of this page.  We will be updating this website in future with more articles,  videos, newsletters,  frequenty asked questions on various aspects of spiritual life etc. Our goal is to help everyone derive some inspiration towards perfecting their spiritual endeavors in this world, where life is very uncertain and short lived.

If you do have questions, inquiries,  please contact us at info@mplskirtan.com. Please do let us know, how we can improve, or if you found anything interesting in particular, so that we can be more enthusiastic in offering this humble service.

Thank you and have a wonderful time.

Ganga-1Many spiritual practitioners in the western world had their first introduction to Eastern thought and yoga via the music of George Harrison. His incredible spiritual journey and music will be discussed and performed in a moving tribute interspersed with anecdotes, philosophy and of course a healthy sample of his music. Gregg Giddings (Gangamantri dasa), a musician and practitioner of Bhakti yoga for the past 30 years, will be keeping the spirit of George Harrison alive and well in Minneapolis with an intimate performance that will be sure to delight one and all. The program will begin with traditional kirtan followed by the concert. A light vegetarian dinner will follow.

A $5 suggested donation is requested.
